Meet The Team

True Insights works with a trusted network of experienced researchers, strategists, analysts and behavioural insight specialists to deliver high-quality, action-oriented research with meaningful social impact.

Our expertise spans qualitative and quantitative research, behaviour change, participation, inclusion, stakeholder engagement and social impact evaluation across the charity, public, education and commercial sectors. We conduct thoughtful, sensitive and inclusive research, amplify underrepresented voices and translate evidence into clear, practical recommendations.

Kathryn Hall, Founding Director of True Insights, is an active contributor to the research industry. She has presented at the MRS Annual Conference, served for many years as an MRS mentor, and helped establish MRS Unlimited in its early stages. She later served as Co-Chair and led its Events and Webinars programme, supporting greater inclusion across the industry. Since 2024, she has also served as a judge for the MRS Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Changemaker Awards.

Beyond the research industry, Kathryn has led workshops and presentations for the Institute of Fundraising, guest lectured at Kingston University Business School and, in 2026, co-led Activity Alliance’s Annual Disability and Activity Survey webinar.

Her training in counselling skills supports a sensitive, empathetic and participant-centred approach, particularly when working with vulnerable audiences or exploring emotionally complex subjects.

Kathryn was part of the team that won the 2018 AURA Best Small Agency Award. She was subsequently nominated for the 2024 AURA Insight Impact Award for her work with NSPCC and entered for the 2026 MRS/ICG Independent Consultants Award for her work with ITV.

Associates include Jeni Whittaker, Lucy Evans and Rezina Chowdhury, alongside a wider network of trusted research and engagement specialists.
